In case you missed the first post introducing our newest baby…..Here is Arnie! Arnie came to us from a neighbor who asked if we would take him in as an orphaned and of course I did! (Yes – my husband is calling me ‘Ellie Mae’ these days!). But how could I resist this little horse colt who was only 4 weeks old when he got to the ranch

We were so lucky to have received a phone call from our Neighbors just to the North. They had a cute little Horse colt thats mama didn’t make it and were curious if we would take him in as an orphaned colt! After much debate (ok, very little on my part 😀 ) it was an absolute YES! So Here is Arnie!
The kids have been with him pretty much Day and Night, I think they have a new favorite animal.

We allowed Joe (one of the other geldings) in with him for a little horse time, and Joe ended up nipping Arnie on the rear, the kids have now decided that Joe cannot go anywhere near our Arnie horse! ![FullSizeRender[3]](http://www.themontanaranchadventure.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/FullSizeRender31-300x225.jpg)
Oh boy….it will be a long year of lessons for all of the kids (including Arnie!).
