And so the Building continues! The logs arrived and with the amazing help of our best friend George (who is a saint for helping us with these big projects…again), and my Father-in-Law, Albert we managed to put up 9 foot of sidewalls in about 24 working hours!
Second day!
Here we are getting rained out after setting this log! Beautiful clouds to go with the beautiful building process!
Back at it! Laying the last log! Whoo hoo!
And here it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The finished log part! Now we are waiting on building materials and trusses!
And so it begins, today we got in the building blocks for the walls! And what I mean is Wyoming Log Homes delivered the logs for the sidewalls! Whoo hoo!
Thank Goodness we had the best little helpers today.
Unloading them was alright, until the last two bunks, then things got serious. At one point I was pretty sure The Rancher was going to get flipped out of the Skid Steer because the weight of the logs was so heavy off the truck it jerked it forward so fast!
So the last bunk we split into two sections to move the logs. Jeepers!
And the kids are already “Climbing” the walls!
And so begins the new foundation of our family home. We are so blessed with so much support.
